Colour Me Yellow – Raising Money for the Muffin’s Dream Foundation

Jelly and cheesy snacks flying through the air? A human fruit machine, putting range and basketball hoop attached to someone’s head?

Anyone visiting Marketing Sciences Unlimited on Friday 6th would be forgiven for being confused, as the different departments put their creative brains together to raise funds for our charity of the year; Muffin’s Dream Foundation. We raised £497.17 from our all of this silliness to help them in their work supporting children with disabilities in Hampshire.

Yellow was the theme of the day as one of Muffin’s Dream’s colours. Inspiring yellow themed dress, muffins for sale and sweets to guess the number of.

Laura Ablett (Product & Sensory expert) and Chris Peach (Packaging guru) tried valiantly (and failed spectacularly) to avoid the jelly being lobbed at them by paying colleagues (pictured below the great ‘Jelly Throwing Target Practice’ of 2015).

Nigel Hufton, our Finance and B2B expert had cheesy snacks thrown, dart-like, at his shaving foam covered face. Why? Because people paid good money to, that’s why.

And of course everyone loves a Tombola which Nicci Torrance (Data processing queen) ran like a pro.

A hoot had by all. At least once the last of the Wotsits had been cleared away and the jelly was hosed off the car park!
