Bournemouth University Placement and Careers Fair 2016

The Marketing Sciences Unlimited team took a step out of Winchester on the 26th October to host a stand at Bournemouth University’s Placement and Careers Fair 2016. We were absolutely delighted with the level of interest and sheer enthusiasm that students showed for market research and all Marketing Sciences Unlimited has to offer. I share my experience of the day…

Lucinda Gardner, Christine Trotter, and I were extremely impressed with how the potential applicants conducted themselves, both in their professionalism and their passion to find out more about market research. Career development is something we value at Marketing Sciences Unlimited, so having the opportunity to listen to the Bournemouth students about their plans and career aspirations was incredibly insightful. Hopefully we could also quell any concerns that were raised related to their employability.

As a current placement intern, I know how stressful the placement process can be, so I was keen to advise students in a similar position about how to start the process and how great a company Marketing Sciences Unlimited is to work for. As with our last successful placement fair at Southampton University, we didn’t just rely on our smiles, but proudly displayed some of our recent clientele alongside snippets of projects to give students a real taste of the dynamic world of insight. It was great to be able to convey the level of trust and responsibility that Marketing Sciences Unlimited gives me whilst working on projects, which was clearly well received given the number of CVs and contact details we collected.

Marketing Sciences Unlimited was honoured to be standing next to other well-known brands such as IBM, Microsoft, Mattel UK, Marks and Spencer, L’Oreal, the Army and many more. We have an active recruitment plan and we accept CVs from talented graduates or undergraduates who show a real enthusiasm for market research. We have recently employed both undergraduates and graduates from the Universities of Bournemouth, Bristol, Durham, Nottingham Trent, Southampton, Portsmouth and Winchester, across a variety of disciplines. We have recently offered degree apprenticeships to those who wish to earn while they learn! As the first undergraduate placement intern, I would highly recommend Marketing Sciences Unlimited for anyone who wishes to experience an unlimited amount of opportunities, but to also enjoy yourself while doing it.

To express interest in graduate or undergraduate roles at Marketing Sciences Unlimited, please email your CV and (importantly) a covering letter stating what you are seeking to…

We wish all of the students searching for placement and graduate opportunities the best of luck.  As an established business that has been constantly growing for almost 30 years, we strive on clear direction through clever thinking, but we want students and recent graduates to remember, sometimes a step in the right direction is a good start. So, get applying!
