We are celebrating again in 2017! We are delighted to be featured in The Sunday Times 100 Best Small Companies to Work for – for a third time.
The awards, held on the 22 February, show that we were placed 14th, and also received the highest 3-star accreditation for being an “extraordinary” small company employer. This means that Marketing Sciences is THE top market research agency to work for, and we are thrilled.
We put our people at the centre of what we do. By looking after the team and developing their skills we continue to deliver excellent research to leading brand customers around the world.
There were a number of areas that our people said we did well in, with positive overall engagement having improved across the whole team. This included strong leadership, with line managers demonstrating what good looks like. Feedback also showed that people believe they have excellent opportunities for personal growth and a real enthusiasm about where Marketing Sciences is going in the future.
Compared to other 3-star companies we scored extremely well, ranking higher than most on creating a caring working environment, helping ensure a work-life balance to keep people healthy, well and feeling valued.
Adding this year’s 3-star status to previous awards confirms Marketing Sciences’ commitment to creating a rewarding workplace.
Jane Rudling, MD, “We are absolutely delighted to be included within the 14 of the country’s best small companies to work for in 2017. The great thing about this award is that it is completely independent and voted for entirely by employees. We wouldn’t have been able to achieve this without the dedication and commitment from our people. We work hard to value individuals and reward them for the wonderful work they do and are delighted to have been rewarded by the team in achieving this”.
We attended the glamorous awards ceremony in person to pick up our award; held at Battersea Evolution in London, the glitzy black tie event was a glamourous affair with over a thousand attendees. There we were welcomed by Jonathan Austin, the CEO of Best Companies before TV personality Ben Shephard hosted the celebration, which included an action packed performance from popular Stormtrooper dancers ‘Boogie Storm’.
In all it was a lovely evening, and finding out our position in the Top 100 was the cherry on top of the cake. The award is a very welcome addition to our cabinet!Subscribe
